The first drawing completed in 2022, this work dives back into the relationships with the natural world. Entwined and morphed, the figure sturdies itself under the weight of the tree. Alongside Figure in Frame, this work reiterates an exploration of shapes in the composition. With a nod to the circular nature of life, the piece considers the different skin textures of each of the subjects, that morph into one another through tones of graphite.
