Complimented by its sister piece, ‘Handle’, this work was completed four years later. Returning to the subject, the work sets out to capture the evolution of feelings towards subjects of the natural world with smokey illusion and a soft touch. With a juxtaposition of subject matter, the graphite moves over the paper pushing tone in new and deeper ways.
