prints FAQs

what are prints?

The fine art giclée prints are high resolution scans of the original works created in limited availability within an edition of 50 or 24.

These prints are printed on a high resolution fine art digital printer. This allows for an accessible collection of Jono’s work as an alternative option to that of purchasing an original work. The prints come in consistent sizes of Regular, Large and Custom.

what are the sizes?

Most prints are a standard A1 size with the option of ordering in larger sizes, subject to the size of the original work. These sizes are:

Regular: 594 x 841 mm (23.4 x 33.1 in).

Large: 900 x 1270 mm (35.4 x 50 in).

Custom: 1114 x 1620 mm (43.9 x 63.8 in).

All of these include a 34.8 mm (1.37 in) border on the top and sides and a 45.7 mm (1.80 in) border at the bottom to fit the signature and allow for framing.

Are all prints available in larger sizes?

Since the prints are subject to the size of the original works, no. While most works are available as either Large or Custom prints, there are exceptions.

The availability of sizes are:

Regular only: Balance, Fibonacci, Perspective, Reclaim, Stag Queen, Sunset and Touched by God.

Regular or Large: Approval, Autumn, Berkana, Honey, Ruin, Sage, Sanctuary, Separation, The Shadow and Tulip.

Regular, Large or Custom: All other listed prints.

are prints and originals the same?

The short answer is, no. The fine art giclée prints are high resolution scans of the original graphite works. The prints are printed on a high-resolution fine art digital printer and made as one of a limited edition range of that artwork.

The availability of prints and originals are not co-dependant however, since prints have their own availability that is not affected by the sale of an original, and vice versa. If you are interested in an original, please feel free to contact us.

availability of prints?

The prints you purchase are 1 of a limited edition of 50 or 24 prints, after which that artwork will no longer exist or be in print, with the exception of the original graphite work.

how Much will my print cost me?

Each print has a standardised price based on its size. Shipping is also charged upon checkout for either domestic or international shipments.

Please note, there are import/customs fees payable by the customer upon entrance into the country. Each country is different with regards to their import costs, making it impossible to standardise this amount during the online ordering process.

how long will it take for my prints to reach me?

On average, prints take 2-3 weeks from date of order. This is subject to change however and is informed based on the shipping location. When a print is purchased, the order is updated with the tracking number of the shipment which can then be used to oversee the status of your print. You will be informed in the event of any notable updates regarding your shipment.
